Southern Sweet Tea!

I know this might be a corny post, but I have actually met a lot of people that do not know how to make sweet tea! So I captured the process and I will show you the how-to-guide to making some YUMMY southern sweet tea!

I use Luzianne tea bags, but that’s just my preference. If I get the regular size tea bags, I use 3. I bring a pot of water to a boil, take it off the burner and put the tea bags in the water and set the timer for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile… I get my tea pitcher out and put 2 cups of sugar in it. Then I turn my kitchen sink water to super hot and pour that into the pitcher until the pitcher is about 1/4 of the way full and stir.

After the timer goes off, I take the pot and pour the tea into the pitcher. KEEP THE TEA BAGS!! After I pour that pot in, I fill the pot back up while tea bags are still in the pot and pour that into the pitcher. Just keep doing this until the pitcher is full.

After the pitcher is full, just still very well. Put the pitcher in the refrigerator and you’ll have you a nice pitcher of tea for the week! It’s something I ALWAYS have in my fridge, but then again… I am just a southern girl!
