Ahh, for the love of biscuits you have GOT to make this recipe! They are SO tasty!
2 c. Self Rising Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp. Powdered Sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. Buttermilk
Heat oven to 450. Mix all of your dry ingredients in bowl. Add Crisco and mix with fingers. Slowly add in milk (you might not need to use all of it) until dough is sticking together.
Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and scrape the dough onto that. Sprinkle a little flour on top of the dough and coat your hands with flour and knead the dough. Only a little, you don’t want to get the dough too tough. Roll out your dough with a rolling pin and cut into circles. Spray a baking sheet and but biscuits on it. Bake for 10 minutes!
Delicious with apple butter, honey or jelly!
