Here is a recipe that I found on the Kraft website. I have never made a green bean casserole, but I thought this one looked particularly good. So I decided to give it a whirl and I am glad I did! I found something else that I like!
Cheesy Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients:
1 can (32 oz.) Green Beans
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Cream of Mushroom soup
1/2 lb. (8 oz.) Velveeta, cut into 1/2 in. cubes
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
Directions:
Heat oven to 350.
Mix green beans and Cream of Mushroom soup and put in a 2 qt. baking dish. Place Velveeta cubes on top of that.
In a pot, bring water to boil and place your butter in it and let it melt. After butter has melted, pour that mixture over the stuffing and stir just until moistened. Spoon over bean mixture.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until heated through.

But it is not green at all
I know! It’s all under that yummy, crusty-cheesy goodness!
G’day:
Yes, plenty of cheesy goodness. Thanks for linking this up, too.
This looks like a fantastic winter recipe. I’m always looking for things I can pop in the oven and forget about while I walk the dog. Green Bean Casserole is one of those things that are safe for a veggie to eat at most family dinners (except if it’s made by a fan of bacon bits)
I’ll be bookmarking this one.
